How Do I Know If It's Working...?
09/23/2024

When it comes to Silky Peach, Vibrant Third, ReBounce, and Chaos Calmer - you need to know how to use, how to tell if the cream is working, or if you are using too much. This blog takes you through how to use each of our creams, so you can be a hormone expert in no time!

How Much Do I Start With?

Silky Peach - Women typically start with 2 pumps per day, in the evening, for the first thirty days, unless you are still cycling (even sporadically), in which case, we recommend reading this blog.

Vibrant Third - Generally, women start with one pump, three times a week.

ReBounce - Typical use of DHEA is ½ to 1 pump per day. Each pump provides 5 mg of DHEA.

Chaos Calmer - ANYONE can use this (over the age of 1), typically at bed time as it may make people drowsy. You can apply 1-3 pumps on the inner arms.

How Do I Know If I Am Using Too Much?

Silky Peach - 80% of women see results in 2 months. At this time, some women find that they need to continue with daily use. However, some women find that they can reduce to less, maybe every other day or just one pump instead of two. Indications you have enough estriol in the tissue are a little new itching, bloating, PMS like symptoms, or increased discharge. These are signs that the body has enough estrogen, and so you can cut back. Remember, if you stop completely, the vaginal atrophy will return. Many women try using half the original amount and then adjusting up or down from there as needed.

Vibrant Third - Progesterone can cause a sleepy effect if too much is used. Typically women will start using 1 pump either every other day or 1 pump 5 days a week with 2 days off. If progesterone makes you too sleepy during the day or you experience bloating and mood changes, you could try using half a pump instead of a full pump. Progesterone is most often used in the evening when you can get the benefit of the sleepy effect.

ReBounce - Too much DHEA can impact sleep, increase irritation, or result in thicker chin hairs. Some women will need only the smallest amount - 1/3 of a pump to get the benefits. ReBounce is always best used in the morning.

What is a 'Maintenance Amount'?

Hormones are necessary for our bodies to function, but often, once women find relief, they want to stop using altogether. Unfortunately, as we get older, our hormone production slows and declines, and if we stop topping up the tank manually, then those hormone stores will deplete and we will be back to square one. However, the trick with hormones is just enough and no more, so many women do want to find the lowest amount possible for continued use.

For Silky Peach, we have written about several different 'case studies' to show how every woman has a different routine, and what those might look like. You can read that, here.

For Vibrant Third and ReBounce DHEA, it is best to start with a very small amount and work your way up if necessary.
